Tom Holtz
Founder & Board Chairman

Tom is the Founder and Board Chairman of Holtz Builders (HBI). In this role, Tom provides strategic guidance and helps shape the long-term vision and values of the organization, continuing to champion a culture rooted in honesty, transparency, and integrity.

Tom’s philosophy in life is simple—treat others with kindness and give generously. He lives out these beliefs by giving back to the communities where Holtz Builders works, both financially and through his time and service. He is a dedicated advocate for the nonprofit sector and proudly supports organizations such as Sleep in Heavenly Peace, local Boys & Girls Clubs, area food pantries, Agrace, and many others.

With more than 30 years in the building industry, Tom has overseen hundreds of projects, including waterparks, large multi-family developments, complex renovations, high-end residential homes, hotels, restaurants, and other large commercial buildings.

Tom grew up on a small dairy farm established in 1895 in the village of Rock Springs, Wisconsin, where he learned the value of hard work, family, and contributing to a family business. Today, he enjoys spending time with his three adult children, cheering on the Badgers and Packers, and playing the occasional round of golf.
