Safety Team

Built with Care. Backed by Safety.

At Holtz Builders, our safety culture is embedded in everything we do—ensuring every project is executed with precision, accountability, and the well-being of our people in mind. This includes:

Job Site Specific Safety Analysis (JSSA)

A proactive process used to identify potential hazards unique to each project before work begins. By evaluating site conditions, tasks, and equipment, our team develops tailored safety plans.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

All team members are equipped with the appropriate PPE based on their role and project-specific requirements.

Pre-Task Analysis

HBI requires written planning and crew review for safety-sensitive tasks.  This ensures that all hazards are identified and that mitigation strategies are reviewed and carried out by the crew performing the work.

Toolbox Talks

Weekly safety meetings cover a range of relevant topics, providing ongoing training and reinforcing safety awareness across our team.

Performance Tracking

We monitor both leading and lagging indicators using jobsite data to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

Inspections & Compliance

Each project includes regularly scheduled safety audits. All project partners are required to respond with corrective actions to any noted deficiencies.
