Bart Lechner
Director of Pre-Construction in Wisconsin

Bart’s introduction to the construction industry began during high school when he worked as a general laborer during summer breaks. A decade later, after earning his bachelor’s degree and acquiring experience as an aircraft mechanic and home energy auditor, he returned to construction as a Superintendent and then a Project Manager, focusing on small remodels for restaurants and gas stations. As his projects increased in scale and complexity, his career trajectory led him to a role at HBI. Bart has successfully managed national employee housing projects for International Residence Hall, where he embraced the challenges of building in diverse locations with varying climates, codes, and construction methodologies. Currently, as Director of Pre-Construction, Bart oversees all pre-construction responsibilities within HBI’s Wisconsin branch, honing his leadership and estimation skills.
